Molly Olshin is a Philadelphia based artist and social worker who graduated from Moore College of Art and Design in 2019 and Temple College of Public Health in 2023. Molly's work focuses on abstract expressionism, elements of street art, trial and error, and layers as a form of symbolism of time and identity. Molly had two paintings on loan and displayed at Moore College of Art and Design from 2019-2021. Molly has participated in local mural making, Mural Arts Eagles Paint day from 2016-2022 and a mural on Front and Queen streets with Flisher Art Memorial. In 2018, Molly did her college internships with Mural Arts Program at the Kensington Storefront, and at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital as an art therapy intern. Molly received her Masters of Social Work from Temple University College of Public Health in 2023. Molly completed her foundation year MSW field placement at the Susquehanna Park Program, a residential treatment center for men who have experienced chronic homelessness, substance use disorders, and co-occuring disorders. Molly currently works as a therapist supporting young adults experiencing first episode psychosis. Molly's goal is to combine her passions of expressive art making, clinical social work, and working with underserved and underrepresented communities in Philadelphia.
